About Ember & Tide Restoration
When disaster strikes, we restore what matters most. We are a Wasilla-based crew that carries a property loss the whole way — from the first emergency call through the cleanup, your belongings, and the rebuild that makes the place yours again.
Who we are
One company, from the first call to the last coat of paint.
A restoration contractor that does the whole job, in the place it lives.
Ember & Tide Restoration is a restoration contractor based in Wasilla, Alaska. We work out of a shop on E Brianne Lane and cover the Mat-Su Valley and Anchorage — water damage, fire and smoke, mold, the belongings a loss leaves behind, and the reconstruction that puts a property back together again.
What makes the company work differently from most is scope. Restoration usually arrives in pieces: one outfit dries the building, another cleans the contents, a third handles the rebuild, and somewhere in the middle the homeowner becomes the project manager by default. We carry all of it, so there is one number to call and nothing falls into the gap between contractors.
The rest of it is simply where we live. Alaska decides how a water loss behaves, how fast mold takes hold in a crawl space, and how long an unoccupied cabin can sit before a small failure becomes a large one. Planning around that is not a specialism here — it is the ordinary condition of the work.
What we stand for
How we work.
Four commitments that decide how every job here actually runs.
One crew, end to end
The company that mitigates the damage is the company that cleans your contents, rebuilds the structure and does the final clean. No handoffs, no gap where a detail gets lost, and no explaining your loss a second time to somebody new.
Straight answers, including the unwelcome ones
Sometimes the honest answer is that the job is smaller than you feared, or that an item cannot be saved. You will hear that from us either way. Quality workmanship matters, but so does not selling work that does not need doing.
A line that is actually answered
Property damage does not wait for business hours. Our emergency line is answered around the clock — nights, weekends and holidays — because the first hour of a loss decides how much of the property you keep.
Your house, treated like a neighbour's
In a place this size, the property we are working on usually belongs to somebody we will see again. That is not a marketing line, it is just how a small valley works, and it sets the standard we hold the work to.
What we handle
The whole recovery.
Full-service restoration — mitigation through reconstruction and contents care, each with a page of its own.
The process
What working with us looks like.
Whatever the loss, the shape of the job is the same four steps.
- 01
Call our team
Tell us what happened. We'll walk you through immediate steps — shutting off water, staying clear of damage — and get a crew moving.
- 02
Assessment & scope
We inspect the loss on site, document everything, and give you a clear scope of what needs to happen and in what order.
- 03
Mitigation & cleanup
Water extraction, structural drying, smoke and soot removal, mold containment, contents cleaning — we stop the damage and stabilize the property.
- 04
Rebuild & walkthrough
Reconstruction returns the property to pre-loss condition. We finish by walking the completed work with you.
Standards
Credentials and straight pricing.
What we hold ourselves to, and how the money works — stated before you ask.
IICRC Certified Firm
We work to current industry standards for water, fire and mold restoration, and we document what we do as we go rather than reconstructing it afterwards.
Estimates, stated plainly
Estimates on new construction are free. Restoration inspections are a paid service, and we quote that fee up front before we come out — so you always know the number in advance rather than after the fact.
Built for the claim
We photograph, document and scope every loss in detail so your claim has the record it needs, and we are happy to coordinate directly with your adjuster.
