Water, Fire & Mold Restoration Service Area — Wasilla, the Mat-Su Valley & Anchorage
Our workshop is in Wasilla and our crews run the Mat-Su and Southcentral corridor daily. Below is exactly where we work, what we handle in each community, and what to do if your address falls outside the lines.
Where we work from
A Wasilla shop at the centre of the Valley.
One workshop, one crew, and a service area we actually drive — not a franchise map drawn by someone who has never plowed the Parks Highway.
Ember & Tide Restoration works out of a shop on E Brianne Lane in Wasilla. That puts us minutes from most of the Mat-Su Valley and a routine drive from Anchorage, which is why we can carry a job from the first emergency call through mitigation, contents, and the finished rebuild without handing it to anybody else.
Being local is not a slogan here. Alaska's winters decide how a water loss behaves, how fast mold takes hold in a crawl space, and how long an unoccupied cabin can sit before a small failure becomes a big one. We plan around that because we live in it too.
Communities we serve
Where Ember & Tide works.
Wasilla is home base and Anchorage is our second market. Everything below is somewhere we actually drive to.
Home base
Wasilla
Where our workshop is
Our workshop sits on E Brianne Lane, which makes Wasilla the shortest run we make. We work the neighborhoods around Wasilla, Lucille, and Cottonwood lakes and out along Knik-Goose Bay Road, where waterfront homes and well-and-septic systems bring their own failure points.
Mat-Su Valley
Palmer
Up the Glenn Highway
A short run up the Glenn Highway, Palmer mixes older farmhouses with newer subdivisions along the Matanuska River. Aging supply lines and outbuildings that sit unheated through winter are the calls we take most often here.
Houston
North on the Parks Highway
North of Wasilla on the Parks Highway, Houston is wooded lots and wood-heated homes. Woodstove and chimney fires, and long unoccupied stretches in the cold, are what bring us out this way.
Big Lake
Cabin country
Big Lake is cabin country, and much of it sits empty for weeks at a time. A supply line that lets go in an unoccupied place can run for days before anyone notices, which is why so much of our Big Lake work starts as a water loss.
Butte
Along the Old Glenn
Out past Palmer along the Old Glenn Highway, Butte properties take the weather the Matanuska Valley funnels down it. We handle water, fire, and storm damage across the Butte area and the roads around it.
Willow & Sutton
The outer Valley
Willow sits north on the Parks Highway and Sutton east on the Glenn, both far enough out that a loss can go unseen for a while. Remote lots and seasonal cabins are ordinary work for us, not an exception.
Extended coverage
Talkeetna
North up the Spur Road
Talkeetna sits well north up the Parks Highway and the Spur Road, so we plan these jobs rather than improvise them. Cabins, seasonal places, and a long drive mean we bring what the job needs on the first trip.
Anchorage
Our second market
Anchorage is our second market and a drive we make daily. We take residential and commercial losses across the bowl, and the same crew that starts the mitigation carries the job through to the rebuild.
Girdwood
South on the Seward Highway
South of Anchorage on the Seward Highway, Girdwood gets heavy snow and damp maritime air. That combination is hard on roofs and crawl spaces, which is why mold work makes up so much of what we do there.
Mat-Su Borough
Everything in between
Between the named towns sits a great deal of Borough — outlying subdivisions and the side roads off the Parks and Glenn highways. If your address is in the Matanuska-Susitna Borough, it is inside our service area.

Before you call
Two things worth knowing.
Outside our primary area?
If you are located outside our primary service area, we still encourage you to contact us. Depending on the size, scope, and urgency of the situation, our team may be able to travel beyond our standard coverage area.
About estimates
Estimates on new construction are free. Restoration inspections are a paid service, and we quote that fee up front before we come out — so wherever you are in the service area, you know the number in advance.
Service area FAQ
Coverage questions, answered.
Straight answers about where we go, how fast, and what it costs to find out.
What areas does Ember & Tide Restoration serve?
Wasilla is home base, and Anchorage is our second priority market. We also serve Palmer, Houston, Big Lake, Butte, Willow, Sutton, Girdwood, Talkeetna, and the wider Matanuska-Susitna Borough, plus Southcentral Alaska more broadly.
What if my property is outside your primary service area?
Call anyway. Depending on the size, scope, and urgency of the situation, our team may be able to travel beyond our standard coverage area. It costs nothing to ask, and we would rather tell you honestly than leave you searching.
How quickly can you reach my property?
Our emergency line is answered around the clock, and for an active loss we dispatch as soon as you call. We are based in Wasilla and run the Mat-Su and Anchorage corridor daily, so how long the drive takes depends on where you are in the area.
Do you serve Anchorage as well as the Mat-Su Valley?
Yes. Anchorage is our second market and a drive we make daily, for both residential and commercial losses. Being valley-based does not mean valley-only.
Do you charge for an estimate?
Estimates on new construction are free. Restoration inspections are a paid service, and we quote that fee up front before we come out, so you always know the number in advance.
Where is your workshop?
Our workshop is at 4100 E Brianne Lane, Wasilla, AK 99654. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with weekends by appointment — but the emergency line is answered 24 / 7.
